Most Anticipated Books for Fall 2019

Fall is a glorious season, isn’t it? Pumpkin-spiced everything, a  brisk breeze, and a new bevy of books to cuddle up with on the couch. Check out my most anticipated books for this fall!

Get ready people, Darkdawn is about to unleash chaos and revenge in the final book of the Nevernight Chronicle trilogy! I am so stoked for this book. Jay Kristoff has yet to let me down and I can’t wait to see where he takes Mia Corvere!

Who knew Marie Lu was going to continue the Legend saga?! Not me obviously but I am so excited to read more. The ending of Champion was great and I appreciated the realism to the story even if it made me feel a little empty-handed but now Marie Lu has heard my pleas for more June and Day. I know this story will likely revolve around Eden, Day’s younger brother, but having  hope of a real reunion between Day and June is beyond my wildest hopes and dreams.

Release Date: Oct. 1

Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin is likely to be the young adult breakthrough of the fall. Filled with magic and romance, how can it not be? A seemingly unique take on the war between witches and the Church, this book gets all my good book spidey senses tingling. Can’t wait to check this one out!

Release Date: Sept. 3

Ninth House is Leigh Bardugo’s foray into adult fantasy and I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy. After being a huge fan of her Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows series, my hopes for Ninth House were super high. But throw in ivy league secret societies and occult activities and my expectations have skyrocketed!
