Secret societies, ivy leagues, and monsters. The much anticipated sequel to Ninth House will keep us guessing on what Alex Stern uncovers next!
The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty – February 28th
Remember that amazing series The City of Brass? No, check out this review. Obviously, I loved it and can’t be more excited to read Chakraborty’s new trilogy weaving magic on the high seas.
Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers by Jesse Q. Sutanto – March 14th
Light-hearted thrillers might be an oxymoron but Sutanto does it right. When a murder occurs in Vera Wong’s tea shop, she takes matters into her own hands and decides solving a murder is completely in her wheelhouse. Go figure.
The Haunting of Alejandra by V. Castro – April 18th
Horror books aren’t usually Spring-time books but if you love Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia (which I do), this is a must! A chilling tale of a mother haunted by the Mexican folk demon La Llorona will give you all the same goosebumps as Mexican Gothic.
Happy Place by Emily Henry – April 25th
Another classic romcom with Emily Henry. She’ll make you laugh, cry, and fall in love with Harriet and Wyn. Get ready for fake romance turned real in this perfect springtime read.
